Daryl & Francis Chen’s wedding was a 2 day affair. The day before the wedding was devoted to Daryl’s cultural traditions of the mandatory tea ceremony which involved some hilarious initiation activities for Daryl and his groomsmen (for example…having to eat horrible raw patties made with silk worms, chilly paste and other unsavory ingredients!) Having passed these he was then allowed to greet his bride (who waited patiently in a separate room with her mum) with a kiss, sign a contract (more hilarity!) and get on with the tea ceremony. The wedding was held at Cable Bay, Waiheke Island, on a perfect day and both bride and groom looked stunning. We went off site for some locations to Oneroa Beach and then headed back to Cable Bay for a few more pics down in the cellars and enjoyed an amazing sunset for our last images.
