It was a very special occasion when my dear niece Amy married her sweetheart last year at Cornwall Park, Auckland.
We started coverage where Craeg and his groomsman were getting ready.
Onto Amy’s where hair and make up under way. I love the trend of shabby chic hair styles!
Amy and Craeg chose to do their location photos before they got married so they enjoyed the magic of a first reveal captured here on the steps which later formed the entrance of their ceremony
From here we moved onto locations around the beautiful park. The spots were chosen at rehearsal the day before, so the session flowed seamlessly from one spot to the next.
As you can see, I have made full use of the grand established trees in amongst the grounds of this wonderful public reserve in the heart of Auckland. Textural overlays and a bit of vintage colouring added in post production to create art pieces (think big prints on your wall!)
Lots of great areas in the well established park
Mother and daughter re united after locations, and then it’s on to the ceremony
The epitome of cute! Moments before the ceremony begins.
I just love this image above. The smile on the groom’s face, and their wee daughter peeking in from the background, I carefully composed the image so only the main characters are visible.
Some guests just couldn’t stay awake
After many more smaller group shots we headed over to the cricket pavilion within the park for a lovely casual reception, including speeches and of course, the first dance.
